Does anyone have any thoughts on the new Arturia Keylab Essential 88?

Right now I am really wanting to learn to play the piano and at least get the basics down and hopefully progress from there. I know that to learn how to play piano that I don't necessarily need something that has 88 keys, but, I've always heard that it's best to have the option of 88 keys instead of 61 or 49. And, since the price point on this controller is so affordable I am thinking about getting this one as opposed to the Novation SL MkIII 61 key midi/ controller unit that I had my eyes on (and is $300 more than the new Arturia Essential 88 key.)

I wanted the Novation because it could act as a controller for all of my other gear, but, that's not something which I really need, it was just a really cool added feature. Right now I'm using a Roland MX-1 mixer as the main device to clock all of my pieces of gear along with a MIDI Solutions Quadra 1 In 4 Out for clock. Sorry for going a bit off course with the Novation unit, but, I've been having some trouble getting everything to sync up lately and that Novation unit along with the new Keystep Pro have me scratching my head as to whether or not I should go with one of those 2, but, now that this new affordable 88 key Arturia controller has come out I'm considering it as a possible contender. Go easy on me, I'm still learning the ins and outs of synthesis along with the use of my gear & it's integration. I really appreciate any help or advice.
