Sequencing VSTs in Ableton help.

I am on the hunt to purchase a midi controller that can sequence my VSTs in ableton with nice visual feedback so I can modify on the fly. I want this controller to do multiple things *if possible. 1. Sequence a pattern into a midi channel in ableton to control my vst.
2.have the ability to switch midi channels to control another VST or hardware synthesizer 3. Hopefully have a built in arp otherwise I can midi program that in ableton. 4. Be able to accept midi for midi clock only 5.polyphonic

I have a launchpad mini and use launchpad95 which is very nice but it seems to be unreliable at times.
I really do like how launchpad95 script works and if there is something out there that is similar to the layout that would be good. The feature that launchpad95 has to send the current sequence to the channel is great because I can arm another track and send another sequence to it or jam on the piano mode. If I had a different controller for sequencing i could always record the clip in launchpad if needed

I've looked at beatstep, electribe but I would love to see where the notes lay in the scale to be able to modify on the fly just like launchpad95. I am leaning towards a push 2, but I'm really only interested in the realtime sequencing for live performance so I think I could find something a little less money if not I would spend the money on it. I have other midi controllers that I have mapped for effects like my launch control and lpd8.

Ant suggestions? This is all gearing towards live performance improv

Ty for your time if you read all of this. Your feedback is appreciated.
