Vortex Sound Research

Hello, I recently read about modular signals being to hot for some audio interfaces to handle. As I currently just have a 1/8 audio cable that goes from my uVCA output into my audio interface (umc202hd); I am now scared that it could break at any moment. Is my fear justified or is my interface safe? Thanks!
