Sliders VS Knobs

Do you like to push it or twist it ? I’ve recently found that when using VSTs I have a strong preference for slider interfaces rather than knobs. I’m curious if that would translate to a physical synth like a KARP or MS-1. How do you all feel about sliders vs knobs on real analog synths?
