How to to increase the strength / extend the capabilities of Marbles?

Hi! I have (or actually I will have, because Maths and Marbles are on their way) such rack:

I'd like to increase the strength / extend the capabilities of Marbles. Which two or three modules can do this?

P.S. Comments regarding possible other "holes" in the system are welcome.
