A while ago, I bought a Vermona DRM1 MKIII. There's a lot to like about it, but I've just never really "clicked" with it.
I've had my eye on the Tanzbärs for a while. And I'm wondering whether it's time to swap my Vermona for a Tanzbär.
I really like the way they sound in demos. They seem squarely aimed at banging minimal techno, which is exactly what I'm looking for. And of course they're super knobby, which is one of the big things that sold me on the Vermona.
If you own (or have owned) a Tanzbär or Tanzmaus: what are your feelings about it in a nutshell? Is there anything that bugs you about it? Anything you particularly love? Anything you'd want to tell a prospective buyer?
(And if you have one for sale – in good condition – let me know. I'm not sure whether I'm ready to take the plunge, but anything could happen.)
