I have an Alpha Juno and I'm going to get BCR2000. And I'm also going to purchase Beatstep Pro.

I want to sequence the Juno (and couple other synths) while I'm tweaking parameters on the BCR2k.

Routing will be like this: MIDI Keyboard-Beatstep Pro-MIDI splitter-Juno and 2 or 3 more synths

Here comes the problem:

Juno needs to receive MIDI note from BSP and SYSEX message from BCR2000.

At the same time Juno also needs to send SYSEX message back to BCR2000 in order to get the light encoder feedback.

• Do I need MIDI merger for this? or can I put the BCR before the sequencer? (If the Beatstep Pro transmits SYSEX message)

Since the MIDI in of BCR2k needs to receive Sysex from Juno I can't put it after the sequencer.

• Can BCR2000 receive MIDI notes from USB while it's controlling the Juno? So I can use it with a computer when I'm not sequencing.
