Expert Sleepers ES-8 with Android?

Does anyone have experience using their Expert Sleepers audio interfaces ES-8 or ES-9 with mobile devices running Android or iOS? Anything special I would have to do if, for instances, I wanted to record video with my phone and combine it directly with a dry signal out from my synth?
