Vortex Sound Research

So recently I bought my first analog synthesizer, the Korg MS-20 Mini, and it had been going great. I had made some tracks and what not with absolutely zero issue. I then saw this cool patch on YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wvrSccBJyb8). I decided to make it, and it worked, but ever since my synthesizer intermittently starts making horrible downsampled sounds, just like the patch above. Regardless of what cables are where and what settings the knobs are at, it will still cut in. Even with the patch bay completely unplugged. I have tried a different interface, and played with abletons sample rate settings to no avail. Its driving me insane and I have no idea what could have set it off.
