Resource or tutorial on replicating patches/instruments with FM synthesis?

Especially with a reface dx?

I'm a huge noob--I only sort of have a grasp on analogue synthesis--and I just got a reface dx hoping to play some great 80s/90s sounds. There weren't a lot of presets there, tho.

I understand the reface can't replicate a lot of dx7 patches because it has fewer operators, but I wondered if there was a resource that explained how to get close. The fm synthesis tutorials I've seen just really explain carriers and modulators, etc.; they don't really go into stuff like "for x sound, modulate y with z" or similar, which is what I'm looking for. Especially for a choir-type sound like this https://youtu.be/HcJbl0kG-14 Or https://youtu.be/uoQ9K0G_14M Or https://youtu.be/4jq97iZ7T0Y

The other things I've seen are tutorials using daws and specific plugins, etc.

Is there anything like this?
