Spring loaded midi controllers?

Been on the search for the optimal spring loaded midi controller for years.
Like a joystick ? but in a compact format, think akai mpk’s joystick but without the keyboard.
I have some x/y apps in my iPhone and ideally would like to use em, but I’m having a tough time the getting the midi to work with my windows pc
What options are there for spring loaded midi controllers in 2021?
