Casio MG-510 MIDI guitar question

Hey hey! I have a Casio MG-510 MIDI guitar. I bought it about four years ago, and it tracked MIDI great. I didn't mess with it as a controller for some time and tried to play it again and, as expected, the classic capacitor rot had taken hold and only one string actually tracked anymore. Took it to an electronics wiz locally, and he re-capped the whole thing. All the strings now work and track perfectly except one, which is super frustrating! That particular string also isn't picked up by the on-board tuner, but DOES seem to affect the blinking of the Program Change LED... so it seems that its sending SOME type of signal, yet not to the tuner or MIDI.

Any other weirdos on here who have one of these guitars who know what might be up? My plan was to get it fully functional and then sell it, since they seem to be fairly rare and ALL of them have rotten capacitors.

Thanks!
