Just wanted to give my opinion on the monolouge coming without a power adapter

I'm new to the synth world. Just got a monolouge and its been incredible fun. I really can't complain about anything except the power situation.

Going into this, I knew it came without a power supply. I know why (to save costs and get to that $300 price point, which I respect). But god damn does this thing go through batteries quickly. I had no idea of knowing how long 6 AA batteries would last but my uneducated guess was at least a few days. The fact that I drained the batteries that came with the machine by the end of the first night is honestly kinda crazy.

It's a big purchase and I know its on me to know what I am getting myself into but I have yet to a single consumer electronics device that requires you to purchase $5 of battery a day for heavy use.

I've already ordered a power supply but in my humble opinion if Korg is going to sell it with 6 AA in the box, at least give some kind of notice on battery life and how much it will cost to run out of the box. I just checked the guitar center page for the monolouge, where I purchased this from, and I don't see a warning or disclaimer about battery life. Im really not trying to bitch for no reason here but I honestly have never purchased a product with a power situation like this.
