Vortex Sound Research

Been interested in what would happen if I were to put regular audio (say a drum loop or a speech clip) through a wavefolder like an intellijel bifold or something? Does this produce anything interesting or glitchy, or does it just not work? Don’t own a wavefolder currently but thinking of getting on if that works, seems like it could be endless fun
