Curious if anyone has their Octatrack consistently playing nice with their Mutant Brain? And if so, could you share your MB settings?
Every few times I hit play on the Octatrack, the clock is a half beat or so off on the MB. It is totally inconsistent as to when it happens. The clock seems stable, just off by a noticeable amount ?
So if I have a click sample running 4/4 on the Octatrack and then a 1/4 clock on the MB driving my BIA or other VCO (with fast attack), the sounds are slightly off. But not always! (Checking it all with my Mordax).
Any other gear I have connected via Midi to the Octatrack is rock solid in timing (I use a quadra thru).
I notice it more with higher BPMs (over 100) When it's really slow the issue seems to be somewhat mitigated.
I'm thinking about ditching the MB for a mmMidi (as I have a PNW downstream from MB anyways) but no clue if that would fix anything.
Anyone have any thoughts?
