Thoughts on Erbe Verb As an end of chain FX

What does everyone think of MN erbe verb as the main reverb in your case? All of the reviews I’ve read are saying that erbe verb is a great reverb with a lot of modulation possibilities but it’s not great for just your static “end of chain” type effect.

My question is: can it do both? Have you found that it’s possible to use it as an end of chain effect while also modulating it heavily and getting cool sounds out of it? Or do you find that heavy modulation takes away from the “staticness” that an end of chain reverb is supposed to have?

For reference, I have zero effects in my case right now. I use an ALM SBG to go out to my pedal board where my main reverb is a TC electronic hall of fame, and my main delay is a Boss DD7 (both of which I love, but I’m really trying to build my system to be completely independent and portable).

I’m also open to other suggestions (especially if they’re smaller). I’m only leaning towards the erbe verb bc I find myself really loving the workflow associated with Make Noise modules.
