Can I update a moog mother 32 with sysex using my keystep pro as an interface between my computer and synth?

I have tried this with no success, but I must admit I'm nervous sending sysex delete messages through my keystep.

I recently sold a usb to midi interface. So I hope this isn't the only option.

I've never used sysex before.

I don't want to stuff with my keystep.
