I am currently setting up my setup with a patchbay and im scratching my head how i should go about connecting it in a optimal way.
Equipment i want to connect to the patchbay:
-Novation Peak: Balanced trs
-Behringer Model D: Unbalanced ts
-Roland JU06A: Unbalanced ts
-Octatrack: Balanced trs
- Space echo re201: Unbalanced ts
Lets say i connect to the balanced synths with trs and the unbalanced with ts to the back of the patchbay.
Should i continue with the same cables from patchbay to my clarett 8PRE AUDIO INTERFACE? Or is it better to use all trs cables from patchbay to interface?
How should i go about this?
I also plan to use my strymon BigSky and timeline pedals through my patchbay in the front. And they are unbalanced.
So lets say i want to patch the unbalanced BigSky to my balanced Novation Peak. How would i go about this? patch the bisky with ts or trs cables?
This is making me absolute nuts. Help is heavily appreciated.
