Most major retailers (sweetwater, guitarcenter, musiciansfriend, and a few others) are sold out/out of stock of the D-05. I've been wanting something digital and was considering getting one. Do you guys expect Roland to come out with another module? Or will they exclusively stick to the cloud for future D-50 options?
Since I'm on the topic - Anything else that has a similar flavor that i should look into? My main complaint with the boutiques is the mini audio jacks. I've considered the Kawai K4r as it has a similar uniquely digital sound. I'm looking for a module as i don't have room for a full keyboard (which rules out most ensoniq).
Edit: I know that any comments are purely speculation. I know that there are plenty on the used market. I'm just mentioning the fact that they are sold out to bring up the question of whether people expect another hardware module.
