I'm still new to synthesizers, so this may be a silly question. I apologize ahead of time if it is.
I'm wanting to record my Korg Monolgue in Ableton Live 11. I use a PreSonus AudioBox USB96 (25th Anniversary Edition) audio interface, so I've been connecting it via USB and/or 5-pin MIDI so far. This, as far as I can tell, will only allow me to use my Korg Monologue as a MIDI controller. I'm having to use an instrument in Ableton to create sound. In doing so, I'm unable to use most of the Monologue's controls (knobs, switches, etc.).
The only way to capture my Monolgue's sound is to run a 1/4" to XLR cable from the synth's output to the AudioBox's XLR input? Or am I missing something in Ableton? I really hope this makes sense lol.
