Ensoniq ESQ-1 issues post-service

Hoping a synth savvy fixer-upper type might be able to help me out with this one.. I recently brought my ESQ-1 in to a local music repair shop to get fixed up. Needed a new memory battery (easy i know!) and the mod wheel had stopped responding.

The tech replaced the battery without issue and claimed to have fixed the mod wheel issue, but when i got it home- i noticed that the mod wheel calibration seemed off. i put the synth into calibration mode and discovered that the range of the mod wheel’s response is now very limited. in test mode, it’s values should register from 0-255, but it only registers from 0-100..?? i’m assuming he used the wrong part to fix it?

and a bigger issue: since getting it back, the LFO delay feature now seems to work in reverse?!? to elaborate, normally this feature would delay the LFO kicking in depending on how high the value of the feature is set. instead, it now does the opposite. basically, pressing a note will have the LFO start immediately and then fade out depending on where LFO delay is set. it wasn’t like this before the service. i’d like to have the tech fix whatever weird mistake he made but i figured i’d troubleshoot on here first so i’d have a better idea of what i could tell him might be wrong with it.

any help or advice is very greatly appreciated!
