Patching a little two-voice modular polysynth

I thought someone might find this interesting!

I have a Hex Inverter Mutant Brain MIDI>CV module and you can reprogram it, with sysex midi messages, to behave differently. I set mine to send the first key press pitch and gate to CV A and Gate 1 and the second key press to CV B and Gate 2, then it cycles back to the CV A.

It's patched so the CVs are running into each of my Furthrrr Generator's dual (+synced) oscillators and the gates are running into two envelopes on Stages. It means that when playing the attached keyboard, I have two voices (as long as I don't play faster than my envelopes!) which makes for a really nice and unusually big sound.

I realise this is pretty simple but I spent such a long time battling with a broken USB>MIDI cable that eventually sending the sysex config felt like quite an achievement. It's also something I've been thinking about for a while so I thought someone else might be having similar thoughts and enjoy reading.

Next experiment will be using four notes for four voices, but that will mean including a Dixie II+ and Plaits, so will probably start to sound quite unusual!

Simple patch example here (camera phone, sorry!): https://www.instagram.com/p/B19TeBIhOgj/

(Both VCOs meet their respective envelopes in a VCA, mix in Planar, and are run through a VCF).
