What should I do with a Roland Juno-G that has a failing LCD display?

I have a Roland Juno-G that started to be afflicted with a failing LCD display months ago. I've heard it's a fairly common issue with the Juno-G. I've contacted a couple repair shops, and Roland themselves, and everyone has said the Juno-G is so old that they can't get replacement parts anymore (and from what one repair shop said, the cost to repair it might not be worth it). I decided to buy a newer synth, and have tried selling my Juno-G for a cheap price - I've been contacted about it but nobody has bought it yet. So I've been wondering, should I even try to sell it, or should I just take it to an electronics recycler or something?
