Eloquencer or Metron + Voltera for drum sequencer

I can’t decide between these two for a drum sequencer.

I am hesitant about the Eloquencer because it doesn’t seem like it has been updated in really long time and the ability for rolls seems extremely limited compared to the Metron. It appears that you can only do fills that fill all 1/16 notes limiting the ability to create buildups. The Metron is extremely capable in this area. Also it doesn’t appear it has comparable mute scenes like the Metron does.

As for the Metron it just takes up a lot of space with the voltera to sequence cv and it’s a little pricier.

My goal it for whatever sequencer I get to fully control an alm squid salmple. So both can meet this need from a trig perspective and with the voltera I can control the 3 1/Oct inputs.

Has anyone been able to compare these two sequencers and is there anything else I’m not thinking about? I’m leaning towards the Metron but it seems “messier” than the Eloquencer with a lot of button combos and needing to read the faceplate. Thoughts?
