Hey guys. I'm kind of stuck and was hoping, somebody could help me. My gear:
i got ableton as my daw, steinberg ur44 as sounddevice, midi thru box (4 outs), a beatstep pro, microkorg, volka keys, roland se 02, tr-08 and microbrute.
what i try to do is:
midi out to beatstep pro, midi out from BSP to midi thru splitter, the 4 outs to SE02, microbrute, tr8 and microkorg and finaly from micokorg midi thru to volca keys.
now when i try sequencing the stuff with BSP everything just works fine. also i can play the instruments from ableton with midi notes because of their usb connection.
problem is, the microkorg doesn't have an usb connection, so i figured id like to control all instruments via midi. so i swicth on the BSP to midi sync. the problem is, that the BSP doesn't seem to send the midi notes it gets from the PC to the other devices. it only sends its own signals.
does anybody know, how i could make this work?
