Vortex Sound Research

Hi guys, just a quick question I can't find online. So i have an electribe a volca sample and a minilogue. Any of the synths has midi thru, so i use the sample as a clock and drum machine that outputs sync to the electribe and then controll the minilogue via midi from the electribe. The question is, will the minilogue or the electribe send sync signal out even tho it's not using it's internal clock? Is 'sync thru' even a thing?
