EMS Vocoder 2000 MKII
 | According to the original owner of this unit, built in 1989 (pre-serial numbers) when he called EMS to get a replacement knob in 2007, he asked how many were built, they said they believed around 150. I don't know if this includes the white face earlier late 70's EMS 2000 but I believe they were built to order, as he purchased it in the UK then had to wait for it. The most beautiful mesmerizing sound. 16 band filterbank, the perfect number- less is more robotic, more is more clear and human. They only seem to change hands around 3 times a year.
