Im going back and forth about getting either the arturia minilab or the Akai , both have pretty great features for a beginner mini midi for a good price.
For the arturia, im really impressed by the buid quality, touch controls and the recommendations a lot of people give about it.
For the Akai, im impressed by the drum controls that people praise a lot, the useful display, and the fact that it is one of the most common and universal Midi keyboards rn.
what im confused about is the portability, i know the akai is smaller and lightweight and people say its pretty easy to fit it in a backpack with other stuff to take along with you, but what i genuinely wanted to know from arturia users is whether the minilab is easy to carry along as well? it is bigger and heavier than the akai, but its still a mini midi so its should be some level of portability to it.
What do you guys think? Also any opinions on which one should i get? i know its a pretty common questions in subs like these but im still not able to decide which one should i get.
