Beginner pairing a sequencer/sampler/drum machine for live performance - MPC One?

I'm new to the synth world, and I'd really appreciate any guidance.

I play keys with my band (korg prologue 8, Hammond organ, various piano/ep) and I'm looking to explore using a sequencer to send midi patterns to my keyboards and tweak those patterns live, sampling things I play with my own hands on my hardware live, tweaking those samples and adding that into the loop, and using a drum machine.

From a few hours of googling and YouTube, it seems like I need a groovebox with the ability to live record. Onboard sounds are a plus but not my focus, my primary focus is ability to perform with equipment live, but I'm totally open to implement onboard sounds. I don't have a laptop and the gear must be standalone.

Recommendations that keep popping up are any standalone MPC, the maschine+, octatrack, digitakt. Any recommendations? As I'm new to this equipment I don't really want to dump a ton of money into anything, and it seems like a used mpc one may be what I should look for. Any recommendations based on my needs? Any guidance is welcome!
