Hey! I’m fairly new to modular and am looking into putting together a little rack to go along with my Korg MS-20 Mini. The MS-20 Mini itself has pretty much all of the functionality that I’m looking for, so this little rack mainly serves to improve compatibility with some external gear as well as a few VCAs and envelope generators thrown in for good measure. I’d like to keep the physical size of this rack as compact as possible since my desk is quite small, so I was able to squeeze together a 20HP 3U rack in modulargrid which has all the added functionality that I’m looking for.
The issue is, although a few 20HP 3U eurorack cases do exist, the deepest one I can find is the Modbap20, which only has a depth of 34mm, whereas one of the modules in my planned rack (Doepfer A-190-3) has a depth of 55mm and I wasn’t able to find any shallower alternatives for it with the level of functionality that I’m looking for.
My question is: is there anywhere I could go to order a 20HP 3U case with the depth that this rack requires or would it be better to just bite the bullet and take the DIY route?
Any help is very appreciated, and if I’m being stupid and missing some obvious solution feel free to let me know!
