Vortex Sound Research

Hi all, I just received my korg prologue 8 voice machine today, and was trying to update the latest firmware, followed the instructions on their website and i keep getting a "Device not found" pop up whenever I run the updater.exe.
I've searched all over the web and tried many things: uninstall korg driver and reinstalling it, unplugging and reconnecting and powering, etc. Even tried different usb hub on my PC, but same results.
My prologue is currently on 1.3 firmware. If theres anyone that has experience and can help me with a more in depth process it would be reallly nice and appreciated.
