Midi buffer issue w/ Roland SH-4D

Hello folks,
Just received my brand new SH-4D, thrilled.
But...i play a bit and after few mn i have a 'Midi buffer full' error showing up and weird behavior like the midi notes i play, are repeated after like 20 seconds, so huge kind of delay.
No laptop connected
Just my TR-8S going to my MioXL who is then sending midi messages to the SH-4D.

Nothing in the manual about any buffer or midi buffer.
I'm a bit puzzled, thougths?
