I love running tracks through my hardware fx units, and thought it would be effective and fun to do so in a mash-up style - where I am mangling tracks and mixing them with other tracks hybrid DJ style.
I have an SP-Toraiz, some Eurorack, and a digitakt - but I’m thinking of getting octatrack instead since it can play long duration stereo samples.
Then I was thinking of getting a db4 mixer to use as a key component to mashing the Toraiz with the Octatrack , using its performance features.
What do y’all think of this type of set up?
Would it be viable at all? I guess the Toraiz 60 sample limit would mean I couldn’t use it to actually launch full tracks but it is a hell of a sampler - so would it be kind of difficult to hybrid DJ mashup with this set up?
I could use computer but you know how it is
