Estradin Altair-231

Can anyone share experiences with Altair-231? To the uninitiated: it is an eighties Minimoog knockoff, manufactured in the USSR by the Ukrainian Estradin plant.

I'd like to hear stories and opinions about the machine. By the looks of it, the instrument is about as close to Minimoog as one can be without actually being one. Ditto for the sound.

I'm particularly interested in its user-friendliness. What little experience I have with Soviet synths, they appear to be colorful and well-designed machines, but lack the final polish. Keyboards are clunky, knobs are unresponsive and stiff, etc.

I've been entertaining the idea of buying one, but for the most part I'm just curious. I have to say I do love Altair's color scheme, though!

(Just found this sub. I'm eager to delve deeper into what it has to offer.)

EDIT: Here is some basic info about the synth, as well as photos of a well-preserved specimen. (https://encyclotronic.com/synthesizers/soviet-synthesizers/altair/estradin-231-r1339/)
