Please help me identify this mysterious Multivox organ/piano synth!

Hey /r/synthesizers! I hate making posts like this but I could really, really use your help.

I came across this electric organ/piano/honkeytonky/clav buried in a thrift store near Fresno, California. It had been collecting dust for ages, you could do stem cell research with the amount of dust caked on the keys. Apparently this synth, according to the thrift store manager, had an original owner who played keys professionally in the mid/late 70's but had to sell his gear due to an accident that resulted in the loss of 3 fingers.

Intrigued by the story, I tried googling the model number, 'MX-61' to absolutely no avail. The only hit I found was a newspaper clipping from 1979, Franklin Township, detailing a for-sale listing saying:

MX-61 organ - $250.

I ended up bringing it home for $160 and cleaning it up. It sounds... actually... really, really good. It has its own little bass synth down on the lower register which is absolutely juicy. I had no idea I was buying my next favorite reggae bubble organ. Does anybody here know what the hell this thing is? How many were made? What's the story? I've spoken to four different synth experts, one of which has a massive collection including all the available Multivox models and he never heard of an MX-61.

Album of hi-res photos, perhaps the first photos of an MX-61 ever posted to the internet.

Thanks so much!
