Roland TR-8 as audio interface issue

Hi, so i'm using the tr-8 as an audio interface in ableton, but when i record an instrument being monitored trough the tr-8 output and i have some backing drums playing in my ableton track these drums get into my recording, is there a way around this issue? Thanks in advance
