Vortex Sound Research

So, have been interested in the Karma tech since it came out on Korg's original board of the same name. I've been toying with adding the M3 to my setup, partly for sampling, partly for bread and butter sounds, and partly for Karma.

BUT, I really can't get a grasp on Karma's usefulness as a creative tool. I dunno if my search-fu on YouTube is weak sauce, but I either get real old cheese videos or endless reviews of the original Karma synth -- without a whole lot on Karma itself.

SO, anyone who's played with it: how useful is Karma mangling or creating melodic and percussive lines in your music? Is it a gimmick? Too hard to control? Overall thoughts and links to vid examples would be amazing!
