OP-1 as 4-Track Recorder?

Hi there, hope you all are doing great!

So I've been looking at OP-1 for a while now and before I make the jump I want to know the community's opinion. I've been really into shoegazing guitar, synths/sequencers, and cassette loops . I dont have the craziest equipment, so I was originally thinking of buying some old 4-Track Cassette recorder to make tracks on. But I believe buying something a bit more modern and reliable would be a wiser decision. I've been saving up and the OP-1 seems like a perfect alternative for a 4-Track that also includes synth, sampling and sequencing! The more I read about the OP-1 the more I think it will be of advantage for me. So I want your opinions;

Would the OP-1 seem like a good alternative to an old 4-Track, yet justify its price with other features? Am I overlooking the abilities of the OP-1? (Keep in mind I'd like to stay dawless and like the limitation of 4 tracks.)

Any advice or tips will help me out greatly!

Thanks Smile
