alternatives to step sequencers?!

Hi folks,

I'm kinda tired of the results I get with traditional step sequencers in general, all those arpeggios-like, perfectly on the grid melodies... all the notes the same length...

I want to hear your alternative ways to trigger oscillators, to come up with different results. I bought a Wogglebug and I'm having good results just with it when I pair it with my Braids...

What do you do to "sequence" oscillators without getting those boring arpeggios? Thanks a lot!!!

submitted by /u/probeheadz
[link] [comments]
