Thoughts on a Korg MS2000B

I'm not a Synthesizer kind of musician, however, in the past I have purchased 3 MS2000B Synths, Sold 2, and have 1 currently.

The first 2 of them I sold due to needing the money at the time. Now the one I have, I do not find myself playing too much anymore and actually prefer my R3. My main use is the Vocorder, beyond that I'm truly lost.

I have tinkered with the idea of selling it and even posted it a few places. Most people only offer $200-$250.... I Paid almost $700 for it. I realize what I paid doesn't matter at all, my main question is in this community, how is the Korg MS2000B rated among the more experienced musicians?

The internet forums I've read have it rated all over the place. I greatly respect everyone on this Sub and truly admire all of the talent here.

Is the MS2000B still considered a good platform, and does it still deserve a $500.00+ price tag?

Thanks for your time everyone, and if I broke any Sub rules by posting this here please excuse my ignorance.

Jam On!

submitted by /u/LurkerNoMore2014
[link] [comments]
