i speak words well in synth post title

So the synth envelopes are pretty straight forward, and use common terminology like Attack/decay etc.. but the drum edit tracks use the ancient Roland envelope system of TVA/TENVA etc and use TIME 1 TIME 2 TIME 3/TIME 1 LEVEL TIME 2 LEVEL etc..I've read the manual a bunch and can't seem to get the envelopes to behave in anyway that seem predictable to me. Most of the time it doesnt seem to affect the sound at all. I'm vaguely familiar with this envelope system from the JV 2080 etc but.. anyone? I just wanna decrease the decay on my friggin hi-hat.

submitted by /u/mafgar
[link] [comments]
