MS20 sample and hold problem

Hi guys, I already posted this on r/MS20, but I'm asking here because i suspect it could be a serious issue.

The thing is as follows: this morning i tried to play with the classic "thinking robot" S&H patch, so i wired my machine (original MS20) the usual way: pink noise to S&H in, S&H out to Total, then the square output of the mod generator to S&H clock.

At first, it didn't work, but when i switched the clock input to the MG triangle wave, it made the desired effect. I'm worried about if it could be a symptom for a shot circuit or something that could damage the machine in the long run. What do you think?

Thanks in advance!

submitted by /u/yragel
[link] [comments]
