Anyone Familiar with the GEM SK88 Keyboard?

I have an opportunity to buy a General Music SK88 for under $100. There's so little information about them available, but I know GEM used to be more present in the music industry, however, they seemed to have tapered off over time (not sure how many spare parts still exist). The seller isn't sure if there are any issues with it, and doesn't have any floppy disks for it either. There doesn't appear to be any damage and the keys retain their weights.

From hearing samples online, if it works out, it should be a killer deal for a 90s workstation. Should I risk a bit of cash, or would I be out of luck if something doesn't work? Anything I need to know about it?

submitted by /u/Foobucket
[link] [comments]
