Help getting inspiration/learning how to create glitchy beats and melodies

Hey guys, long time lurker here. So I've recently fallen in love with the concept of modular. I have no background in synths. I used to play the piano, and now I play the bass. I know the basics, the flowchart and all that. I've even made some patches in VCV Rack, which is my main go to for now. I want to make glitchy beats and melodies that I can accompany with my bass, but I a. Dont have any inspiration, ie. I haven't really heard anything that has a lot of it except for a few youtube jam videos. b. Don't really know how to create complex moving patches. I would be greatful for any song recommendations that include such style and also any videos that explain such patches. Thanks!

submitted by /u/duravasa
[link] [comments]
