Vst's on Ableton Live Suite vs Hardware Synth (Minologue XD)

So I have a predicament here. From what I am aware the only different between Ableton Live Suite and Standard is the fact that Suite has extra Vst's. If so, would you reccomend that I go through with using Ableton's vst's or is a hardware synth more of the move. I'm debating on whether I should get a Minologue XD with Standard or get a Novation Circuit with Suite. Im wondering if the vst's will allow me to do what you could do with a minologue XD. If I stick with a groovebox and Ableton vst's, am I missing out on that XD?

I've wanted a minologue for a very long time, however I like to Jam with buddies and would find a sequencer/groovebox to be very useful especially for drums and portability.

submitted by /u/MrSoothingNut
[link] [comments]
