Mixing options of a small rack + external line devices

Hey Hivemind.

I'm putting together a portable Eurorack skiff (6U x 60~68hp range, so 120~136HP total). I have the following needs:

- I'd like to use my OP-Z with it so I need a stereo line in. I don't want to have to mix out of the rack, to keep it portable/compact)
- I have stereo modules so I need something small that can mix stereo signals.
- I also want a headphone out.

I'm currently looking at the Endorphin.es Cockpit v2 ~ 6hp. Seems to tick most of my boxes. Has anyone had experience with it? I've been seeing mixed reviews of the Endorphin.es stuff in general when it comes to noise, headroom, etc but not too much about the Cockpit v2.

I'm also considering combining modules (Erica Synth's PICO Input + Output along with an Intellijel Mixup) as an alternative ~ more flexible with routing but larger at 12hp.

Any other solution I might be missing? Thanks!

submitted by /u/ddpxl
[link] [comments]
