N00b asking for help! Making a very very basic modular!
<!-- SC_OFF --><div class="md"><p>Hello everyone!</p> <p>I was playing with VCV Racks and made a very basic patch about FM modulation: basically one VCO as a carrier, 3 VCOs as modulators and 4 LFOs to alter the sine waveforms of the carrier and of the modulators.</p> <p>Pretty easy yet "oddly satisfying", I really have a lot of fun with the sounds I am getting out if it!</p> <p>And, of course, I started wondering if I could make it "hardware". Of course I can but I am a little bit scared about the prices! I've peeked around and I've noticed that VCOs and LFOs are damn expensive!</p> <p>My idea is to have something very very basic since hardware modular synth is not my hobby and I am not going to spend hundreds of euros for a one time shot...</p> <p>Hence my question: is there a way to realize 4 VCOs + 4 LFOs in the most cheap possible way? DIY is absolutely fine!
