MIDI Routing Digitakt, Keystep 37, and a few synths with a Midihub

Looking for advice on the above. I had been quite happy controlling all of my synths (a Microfreak, MiniBrute, some soft synths, some volcas) with my Keystep into midihub, then midihub out to whatever I’m playing.

And then I got an insane deal over the holidays on a digitakt and had to pick it up.

What’s the best way to integrate into my setup? Basically I’d like to be able to sequence and control all of my instruments from my Keystep still, but also from my Digitakt. I’d also like to control the synth sounds on my Digitakt from my Keystep. And all without losing the awesome generative/chord/arpeggiator features on the Keystep 37.

What are my options here? Was wondering if Keystep in to midihub, Digitakt in to midihub, then midihub out to Digitakt plus any other synths would do it.

Thanks as always r/synthesizers

submitted by /u/HellShaq
[link] [comments]
