very confused by the synth world

there are countless synthesizers out there and sometimes it can feel so overwhelming knowing that I'll never be able try each and every one of them I guess

I own a MicroKorg and love the sounds but I'm ready for more & bigger keys

I love the classic Roland sounds, played around with a Juno-G (which has some of them as presets) for a while & loved it

My question: what synth can you recommend that sounds warm, has many presets & at least 61 full sized keys? didn't like the Roland Gaia sound.... I don't have a lot of money so the more affordable the better but I'm willing to spend some money for a really got synth (not like 3k tho)

thanks so much, sorry to bother - also, just out of interest: how do you guys decide on a new synth??

submitted by /u/tessalonte
[link] [comments]
