Aurora Gain Issue? Or something like that?

So I recently got a Qu Bit Aurora, which I like quite a bit, when it's working as intended. I'm running a Chord through an envelope->VCA situation, and trying to get things right with the Aurora, which again, sounds great when the signal is outputting correctly. There's this thing that's been happening where the wet signal cuts in and out, and the only way to fix it is to jack the gain and/or atmosphere up. Same thing happens when I run it through QPAS into Aurora, although maybe worse or just maybe more complicated.

Unclear to me exactly what's going on, and I've fiddled with a lot of different knob combinations trying to figure it out, without success. Any thoughts appreciated, because again, really do like the sounds this module makes it just ... doesn't seem to make them all the time, and the only way to do it is to jack up the gain etc to the point of lots and lots of airy fuzz in the background.

submitted by /u/bigtrbl
[link] [comments]
